It was in passing, but there was something that bothered him in this interaction, a singular meeting was just a singular meeting; but then again he was doing this out of his own selfishness just as well.

If there was anything he could do in this situation to not come off as a complete weirdo, well Kouji couldn’t figure it out. Thankfully, he was the man known as Kouma, a proper member of society who wouldn’t ever terrify a girl, especially one as small as this one.

After that dream mist, it sure sucks doesn’t it?” He said as he completely fucked this up in a singular move, his mouth moved before his brain could stop him before he just sighed. ”I wouldn’t do anything anyway, but they treating you properly?” He said as he rolled his shoulder, checking up on a friend.

Or so he told himself, he wasn’t sure what his intentions actually were, he was older now, did that mean he was supposed to be wiser too? Time was a strange thing, and in a region such as this one, even the permanence of its march wasn’t guaranteed. He jumped forward, and perhaps he would jump back too.

Kouji raised his eyebrows for a moment before he looked himself over and then chuckled; it was a genuine laugh before he shrugged his shoulders. ”Lost a bunch of time in Area Zero.” He said as he shrugged.
